Tell me if this sounds familiar.  Guess what guys the studio isn't finished because I'm getting over a move.   But look for the quality to improve in the next coming weeks.  Really.  This time I (polemicturtle) moved the studio about 2700 some miles.  Needless to say I'm missing a few things.  On the upside, the new room is a lot cooler.  Mike and I have also worked some of the recording kinks which means fewer "lost" episodes and faster posting times.

Well lets get to the heart of the matter.  Tony is back.  This was particularly fun to tell mike since I almost got him to shoot rum laced cider out his nose.

Also it looks like the story will be primarily set in DC.  This is good since I'm pretty sure J.C. Hutchins is sick of CTU borrowing the 7th son Aurora to get characters across the country... I've said too much. you'll have to check out his podcast novel.

Follow up:  I did in fact stalk the film crew around the city.  They seem to have lots of cool film toys but I couldn't get anywhere near the actual set.  It was a still fun to try.

Just a quick note about hiatus life.  I've finished the construction phase of the studio.  Really, I mean it this time.  Since you can read this it means I've successfully reconnected to the internet.  Yay!  Pod-club is under production and we shoud be recording the  equivalent of a pilot soon.  One way or another something will be coming down this feed this month.  I think our K7 number bit the dust :-(  so do not call the ctu line expecting to hear my sarcastic voice. 

Preproduction is going well though and I think we will be bringing you some teriffic content in the near future.  If not, then its Mike's fault because I am obviously infallible.   

On 7/7/2007 most of the crew are going to be in Syracuse, New York for some festivities.  Since we can't bring you with us I highly suggest you check out J.C Hutchins third installment of 7th son launching on that day. 

Finally I'm still looking for a few brave souls to join us in the Jericho drinking game.  For more details on that event email me ar polemicturtle@netzero.com. 

So we used this first Hiatus Cast to test out some new equipment and personnel.  I think the results are mixed but weÃïïre posting it because we like the content.  It does run on at times and the abrupt conclusion when my connection commits seppuku is my all time favorite.  However I think there is a lot of potential using an expanded panel.

The Studio is half built.  The first half of construction left me pretty beat up and my foot is injured.

Oh yeah.  Did anyone hate the series ending of Stargate as much as me?   By the third montage I started singing the montage song from Team America to my wife to keep from throwing something at the screen.

Mike and I are back to cover the day 6 conclusion.  In summary it was pretty badass until the last 15 or so minutes.  It was pretty hard to not be brought down by the ending and its apparent in the show.  Soooooooo since you are the elite in our audience I threw in a little easter egg.  At the very end of the show after the outro music concludes I include the complete session with our vocalist.

Construction notes.

So the studio construction is going quite well.  I still have 8 of ten functional digits and one working shoulder.  ItÃïïs been 2 straight weeks of fun and excitement. Meaning painting, wiring, plumbing, roofing and flooring.  Oh did I mention there is a house attatched to the studioÃï probably not.  So far IÃïïm under my budget which means more recording tools.  Similarly we are getting ready to rework our webpage and blog.  AndÃïÂÃï there is a big announcement coming soon.  All this work has been for a reason.  WeÃïïve been hinting at it.  WeÃïïve been working on it.  Stay tuned for podcasting goodness.

During this episode we see a reemergence of many of the shows female characters and discover a mole who we both believe to be a red herring. 

Audrey is dead . . . . .or is she?  An uberpissed Jack Bauer and Sec Heller vs all of China  yeah thatâs probably an unfair match upâ.. for the Chinese!

The Jack Bauer body count is now at 11 and Markovâs Pinky.

Techinical Notes

Behind the scenes many changes have occurred.  We shitcanned our old skype recording software and switched to Hot Recorder.   This switch will hopefully prevent fewer episodes from becoming âlost episodesâ?  and have the added bonus of getting out to you faster.  It should mostly solve some of the time synch issues that have been dogging us all season.

If Mikeâs voice sounds a bit odd its because we had to filter out some noise in his signal that really was playing havoc.  This shouldnât problem should be over come shortly.

After some severe (cough Polemicturtle cough) technical difficulties Episode 3 is up.  The sound quality is getting better though the audio is limited by our Skype connection.  We lost a little bit of energy with talking through the show three times but rally at the end.  Unfortunatley we lost a lot of the jokes from the first two trys which is also why the Aaron/Mrs Logan scene seems a bit forced but it had to be done.
